가난하다, 형편이 어렵다 영어로 말해보기

To be broke. : 빈털러리다, 돈이없다.

Since I lost my job, I have not had enough money. I'm broke.

내가 직장을 잃은 이후로 계속 돈이 충분치가 않네, 난 빈털러리야.

 

To not have two nickels to rub together : 아주 가난하다, 돈이 없다.

My paycheck comes in four days, but until then, I don't have two nickels to rub together.

4일 후에 급여가 들어오는데 난 정말 돈이 하나도 없어. 

 

 

as poor as a church mouse. : 찢어지게 가난하다.

I'm as poor as a churn mouse these days. 

나는 요즘 찢어지게 가난하다.

 

feel the pinch. : 쪼들리다.

pinch는  꼬집다라는 뜻입니다. 즉 고통을 느낀다라는 표현을 쓸수있는데요. 

위와 같은 문장으로 쓰면 경제적 어려움 때문에 내가 쪼들린다라는 표현으로 쓸수있습니다. 

 

I'm really started to feel the pinch.

나 정말 쪼들리기 시작했어.
